This wood was the original flooring from the home and has beautifully withstood the test of time. It is cleaned and sanded before sealing with a polyurethane coating. This shelf hangs easily on the wall or sits on a shelf. This shelf changes nicely with the seasons and is such a fun addition to any home decor. It makes a great housewarming gift as well! As this item is made with reclaimed wood, the beauty is truly in the imperfections. Please know that all items vary due to the nature of the wood.
