The journey to Alaska brings new habitats and species, but you will lose a few on the way as well. Caribou become common in the Canadian Rockies and Alaskan tundra. Deer and elk peter out around Whitehorse, Yukon along with Lodgepole Pine. Aspen, however, is found everywhere along the Alaska Highway.
